Things I Learned From Aunt Gayle--
How to play Backgammon, Crazy Eights, and many other games. How to shuffle cards. That it does matter if the bowl is chilled and the butter is softened (not melted). How to put on pantyhose. How to put on make up. How make all sorts of candy. How to form peaks from egg whites. How to get a perfect sugar syrup ribbon. Who Roger Dodger and Hollywood Henderson are. Ceramics. Dough art. And to always read the instructions first.

This really saddens me to hear of Gayle’s passing. I am so sorry I am not able to attend. I just wanted to share with you what a joy it was to know her, to be her friend and her roommate. I always enjoyed her company. We had some good times together. She always spoke so fondly of her family. Especially, William and his wife, Ginger and her niece, the firefighter. And of course, Griff. He really was the love of her life! I remember how excited she was to go to Germany. She was such a good cook. I had many delicious meals when we lived together. She made me a beautiful afghan throw that I still use everyday and it makes me think of her. She was a very special part of my life for a few years and I just wanted to share that with you. I am very sorry for your loss. Rest In Peace Gayle, my sweet friend. You can be with Griff once again. ❤️❤️
