Herschel B. Lawhorn, 88, of Sylva, NC, formerly of Perry, GA, passed away on 7/16/2021 after a brief illness.
Herschel was born on 1/21/1933 to Melba and Sirah Lawhorn in Perry, GA. After graduating from Perry High School in 1951, he went to work on RAFB. He started Lawhorn Electronics in the early 50's and eventually bought a Radio Shack franchise. He was a volunteer firefighter in Perry for many years. After retiring in 1996, …
