How you can help

Herbert, my dad, know to family as Herb and friends as Herbie went into the hospital on Christmas day and passed away peacefully on the morning of New Years day January 1, 2025. I was by his side the entire time, one of the most difficult things I've ever experienced. My dad lived an amazing and full life, 96 years. He served our country, traveled the world, became a chef, and took care of his family. He had 2 daughters and was the second oldest of 14 siblings. He played the important role of patriarch to the entire family. Although he had a large loving family he was still a private man. As time passed he walked through the difficult journey of losing 11 siblings and 1 daughter. During his later years he faced the onset of dementia. Through it all he never lost his sense of humor or his infectious laugh. Unfortunately, though being private and coupled with dementia we recently found out that he stopped maintaining his life insurance making covering funeral expenses and bringing the family together to celebrate his life and going home a little more difficult than expected. Any assistance be it prayers or monitary is greatly appreciated. All funds will be used to cover all funeral expenses and repass. Contribute
