Background
One of the guiding principles of my dad's life was captured best in this passage by Etienne de Grellet , which he quoted to us each Thanksgiving, "I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again. I shall pass through this world but once." My daughter and I each have memories of delivering Meals on Wheels with him as this was one of his favorite ways to help others.
