Herbert Manuel Alameda, 54

Herbert Manuel Alameda, age 54, passed away on February 4, 2026, in Honolulu, Hawaii. 

He was born and raised in Waimanalo, Hawaii, where he built lifelong connections with family and friends.

Herbert was a proud graduate of Kailua High School, Class of 1989.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Gilbert Alameda and Josephine Cordeiro Bulacan.

He is survived by his loving children: Sarah Ku’ualohalani Ku’uipo Alameda, Ikaika LeokaniGalves-Alameda, and Raven Makanaalohaokalani Alameda. He also leaves behind six cherished grandchildren: Kayzen K. Alameda, Korey K. Alameda-McCabe, Kharter K. Alameda-McCabe,Chiarah-Kalena K. Bush, Keelan Leokani Galves, and Akihiko Keala’alohi Eiji Alameda.

Herbert is also survived by his brother, Gilbert Roque Alameda, and his sister, Virginia Laura Alameda-Kurzyniec.

Herbert was cremated. A Mass service will be held on April 11, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at St. George

Church in Waimanalo. Refreshments will follow the service.
