Henry John Pietal Sr. died on May 11, 2021 at the age of 93. He was born on June 24th, 1927 in Hudson, New Jersey to his parents Albert Pietal and Marianna (Karpinski) Pietal. His father was a baker in Poland, but decided he would have more luck in the United States, so he emigrated to New Jersey in 1909 with his wife, Marianna. Henry was the youngest of 10 children. Henry married his first wife, Helen Buonocore in 1950, and had three children with her, Henry Jr., Paul, and Maryanna. Henry later got a divorce with her, and married Mae Lindquist in 1979 and had two daughters with her, Melissa and Elizabeth. Henry worked at Conrail in New Jersey, but then moved to Grafton and lived with his wife, Mae, before moving in with her in Worcester, where they had their daughters. Henry was predeceased by all of his siblings, Alice Korek, Cecilia Poreda, Helen Romanski, Zygmunt, Thaddeus, Alexandra, Stephanie Jaszewski, Frances Okragly, and Regina Kopczewski. Henry's sister, Alexandra, died when she was a baby. Henry and Mae got divorced in the 90's and got remarried to Helen. Henry leaves behind his kids, Maryanna Arsenault, Paul, Henry Jr., Melissa Baar and Elizabeth Crotty. Henry also leaves behind his grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan and Jesse Baar, Aaron and Leah Arsenault, Matthew, Katherine, Suzanne, Stephanie and Anna Pietal. Along with that, he also leaves his two great-grandchildren, Cooper and Nadine. Henry lived the longest out of everyone in his entire family. His parents only lived for around 50 years, so he truly lived unexpectedly long life, but he, alongside his son Henry Jr., did own a health and diet foods retail called Simple Enough Natural Foods. Henry also has countless nieces and nephews, and he will be missed by all of his family.
