It’s the day before the service and I woke up thinking about the many adventures I went on with my father. When I was in middle school, he had a courier job where he delivered packages throughout the Tri-State area and sometimes to New England. When I could I would go along for the ride. My role was navigator and DJ. Kids today don’t know anything about reading a map. I became an expert. And when we were out of range of our NY radio stations, I would play our cassettes - going back and forth between his and mine. Even after dementia set in, my father would talk about our trips to everyone he could.
We loved our uncle Henry. He was my mother Jeanette his baby sister's big brother who help provide, teach and protect her. She loves him dearly and unconditionally. ❤️ 🙏
