Background
The Center for Hope Hospice in Elizabeth, NJ, served as Henry's final home, and our experience with the facility was truly exceptional. From the initial tour to Henry's residence and until his last moments, we were consistently impressed by the high level of care and thoughtfulness exhibited by every member of the staff.
Our ability to visit Henry 24/7 provided comfort, and we strategically scheduled our visits to ensure he was never alone for extended periods. Whether it was early morning, evening, or late at night, the staff consistently delivered next-level care and demonstrated genuine concern for Henry's well-being.
One remarkable aspect of the facility is its commitment to providing charity beds for low-income individuals who may struggle to afford the daily rate. Additionally, residents have the flexibility to request their preferred food at any time, reflecting a commitment to personalized care. The presence of a doctor at all times and a low patient-to-care staff ratio ensures focused and attentive care for every resident, regardless of their financial status.
