Sue I heard about Henry's passing, I am sadden by this news and loved seeing his smile and his humor and jokes he would tell us when I visited my mom Lila. It's hard losing your loved one as I know experiencing the loss of mom. So you have my heartfelt sympathy as you continue forward in finding your peace. May the Lord bless you in this journey.
May my Uncle Dutch rest in peace and the perpetual light shine upon him. Uncle Dutch was my Godfather and a very special guy to me and every one who knew him
As a frequent visitor to Edenbrook, I only knew Henry lying on his back with his green snake pillow supporting his neck. He was very proud of his military picture on the wall and his “he man” picture when he was 75. He was also proud of his family and enjoyed having their pictures in his room. He was always friendly, pleasant and grateful for a visit even when he was extremely tired. After such an active and creative life, it must have been hard for him to be so sedentary, but he never complained. I was fortunate to meet such a sweet man. I’m sure he will be missed.
