After the loss of my "heart dog" Fritz, son of Norris+Midnight I wasn't sure I could bond with any one else. Helga let me visit once a week  with a  3week old pup I named Klaus, son of Lord Ragnar+Lena. We would sit with a coffee and just talk about everything for a couple of hours. I would hold Klaus and at 9 weeks I brought him home. He has been by my side ever since. I believe Helga had a gift of understanding a pup and matching to a human companion. The world was a better place for Boxers and humans when she was here. I will miss her and the true joy she took in her Boxers and nature in general. Kristi Garbutt

Please, accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss. We've met Helga and Dieter some 20 years ago with our Hungarian boxer Beatrix. We were charmed by their boxer paradise household, their dedication to raising healthy and happy dogs, training and exercising the adults, nurturing the  puppies. Helga and Dieter were just the most lovable people one can imagine. We miss them.

Renata, Marek, Ursula & the boxers

We are sorry to hear of your loss.  We had 3 boxers babies from your Mum and Dad and they cared so much for the welfare of the puppies.  Loving, caring and concerned breeders.  They shall be missed … god bless

Keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers 8
I never met the lady.  She was a friend of my sister and also of a former neighbour Janet from Brampton.   We were friends on facebook.  She had such lovely dogs.    My prayer go out to the family for your loss.  She is now with her family in heaven

Oh Helga, you will be missed.  I met Helga years ago and got my first boxer from her, Jaxx.  He was a lovely boy and provided so much love.  After his passing in 2020, I reached out to Helga and she had a beautiful girl she said would be perfect, her name is Nelly and what a beautiful soul.  I can't tell you how much joy these lovely dogs have brought into my life.  I always admired Helga so much.  What a strong, dedicated lady with a warm heart and she just love her dogs.  I am so sad I did not get to bring Nelly back to visit but she is living her best life.  Helga you were and still are an inspiration.  My sincere condolences to the family, cherish the memories.  She was a lovely beautiful soul.

Sincerely,

Colleen and Nelly Christie.

Sending our condolences to Helga's family.  We met Helga & Dieter in 2013 when we adopted Hubble (Butterscotch/Pryce), who is coming up on 13 this year.  In 2015, we adopted our Lucy girl (Lula/Lenny), who passed in May of 2025.  Helga gave us two of the best pups and we couldn't be more thankful for her help and guidance over the years.  She is greatly missed and her memory will live on in each of her boxer babes.
Helga gave us 2 beautiful boxer girls Chelsea & Kinsey over a 12 year span.   I’ll keep her memory in my heart forever.  Sweet angel.

Helga changed my life when she gave me my first Boxer puppy, Wilbur. I cannot even begin to tell you of all the blessings that were wrapped up in that warm, wiggly puppy boy. I’m just so sad and will miss her a lot.

In her memory, I’ve made a donation to the Boxer Rescue of Ontario. My sympathies are with you, Simone and Martina and families.

Our family (my mother, father and I) met Helga and Dieter at a dog show on the CNE grounds in 1980.  We visited her home in Queensville and I picked a puppy (April) that looked just like our Boxer that we'd lost a few months prior.  Helga often let the dogs run free in the basement so I ended up happily covered in Boxers as I sat on the couch. That visit started a long and very happy friendship with Dieter and Helga. My mother became very close to Helga. Then they moved to their new home in Barrie. It was such a lovely piece of land, perfect for Boxers to run. We visited many times over the years, bringing our dog(s) for both to see.Two of our girls gave puppies to Helga and she gave us 1st choice of a puppy as a wedding gift.Dear Helga was always so thoughtful and kind. She reached out to me when my mother passed. We went for a visit and came home with a lovely Brindle girl (Emma) that had been surrendered at 4 mths. She became our daughter's 11th birthday present ,one of her greatest joys. Since then we've had handsome Hudson and now Tucker, who Helga insisted we pick up the day after Dieter's passing. Helga said his passing was a celebration so we took this as a sign.A visit always came with delicious homemade food. We never knew how she found the time to make it with so many gorgeous dogs. I believe she had 8 or 9 at a time. They all got excited when we visited, when anyone visited. We visited her dear friends Fran and Michelle this past weekend. It was surreal with all of the crates empty and no dogs barking.  But my dear friend Helga's presence was everywhere. She is someone who holds a special place in your heart and never leaves.Love you forever my friend, Les, Dan and Tayler
Helga gave us two of our favourite dogs ever, Angel and Lily. She can now run free with all her paw babies… you’ll be very missed!

Each person brings a gift to a relationship.

Helga brought many gifts to her family and friends.  For myself, she helped me with loss, starting 24 years ago when our paths first crossed.  Helga helped me overcome one of the greatest losses, the loss of my first boxer. Her practical words of advice have echoed ever since as life evolves…

“we must concentrate on the living that’s all we can do”

…with gratitude, love and respect this I shall try and achieve…

In lieu of flowers a donation was made to Boxer Rescue Ontario in honour of our midwuff dear Helga.

Please accept my condolences for your enormous loss.

Rhonda

Helga touched the hearts of many people, she changed our lives forever with her incredible European Boxers, advice and friendship. I truly miss her. She selflessly served her entire life. She is a woman who I will never forget.
