Helen's obituary

Helen Thames, an extraordinary woman,  left us on February 21, 2026, after a life that was as remarkable for its compassion as it was for its accomplishments. Born on January 5, 1971, in Meridian, Ms, Helen was a beacon of light and a pillar of strength who radiated positivity, resilience, and wisdom.

 Helen was celebrated for her sagaciousness which can be summed up in her oft-repeated lesson, "Be smart and strong in this world." She embodied these words in every challenge she faced. She also was a tax professional and  proficient in computer technology. Helen's dedication to her work was unmatched, leaving a commendable legacy in her professional sphere. She was a family woman who wore the hats of a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Helen had a unique way of touching hearts, her love was always passionate and filled with good intentions.

Helen was known for her intellect, her sharp wit, and her ability to bring a sense of calm and understanding to even the most complex issues. Her memory will be cherished by those fortunate enough to have known her, learned from her, and have been loved by her.

As we remember Helen Thames, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that touched many lives. We honor her memory and strive to continue her legacy of strength, wisdom, and love. Rest in peace and love Helen Marie Thames. You may be gone from our sight, but you are forever in our hearts.
