Helen's obituary
Helen Gooler, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2023. Born on February 18, 1948, to the late Helen and Edward Schief, Helen lived a full and vibrant life that touched many with her kindness, love and generosity
Helen carried a spark of joy and warmth wherever she went, treating everyone she met with kindness and respect. She was the kind of person who not only remembered your name but also your story. Her generosity of spirit was boundless, as evidenced by countless tales of her helping others in need without a second thought.
As a loving mother, Helen was deeply proud of her children, Christina, Catherine, and Michael. She poured her love into her family, her pride in them evident in every conversation. She was a beacon of strength and resilience, showing her children the meaning of hard work, patience, and unconditional love.
Helen was also blessed with four beloved grandchildren, Colton, Peyton, Hunter, and Cara, whom she adored. Her love for them was vast, her pride in their every achievement clear for all to see. They, in turn, loved their grandmother deeply and will carry her strength, kindness, and loving energy with them always.
She was predeceased by her dear husband, Donald Gooler, whose memory she held close to her heart. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Helen's loss will be deeply felt by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her, but her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to live on.
Our dear Helen will be profoundly missed. Yet, we celebrate her life, her spirit, and the indelible impact she had on those around her. As we mourn her passing, we also rejoice in having had the privilege of knowing such a truly remarkable woman.
