Dr. Battifora got my started in pathology in 1976. I will always be profoundly grateful to him.

Sra de Battifora y familia, me acabo de enterar del fallecimiento de quien no solo fue mi maestro, sino el profesional ejemplar que dejo huella en mi vida personal y profesional. Sus ensenanzas no solo de patologia, sino del amor a la profesion y disciplina fueron "punto crucial" en mi carrera de patologa. Envio desde el fondo de mi corazon mi mas sentida condolencia.

Marina y familia, lo siento de verdad y espero que no sufráis mucho or por mucho tiempo. Nadie mejor que vosotros sabe lo increíble que era Héctor. Yo lo he echado de menos todos estos años que, en el fondo, no estuvimos físicamente muy distantes. En fin, la vida es así. Quiero que sepais que siento que se os haya ido y que lo admire todos los años que trabaje con el y todos estos años que sucedieron, lo he recordado con cariño.

Un gran abrazo a todos de José Esteban y familia.
