"I’ll always love that amazing human”- a long-time friend sent in a message after learning of Heather’s passing. This was said alongside countless remarks about the beauty of her soul and kindness of her spirit. We were lucky to have Heather Noel Townsend in our lives and our lives will never be the same without her.

Heather was an Atlanta native, an alumnus of GA State University, and a resident of East Atlanta. Among her most amazing qualities were her innate empathy and kindness, love of animals, ambition and creative talent, and unmatched energy and life outlook. Her unique vitality was recognized and embraced by everyone she met.

Heather will be deeply missed by her loving sister Allison, her stepsiblings Patrick and Lisa Stoughton, her stepmother Leslie Townsend, her best friend Stephen Davis, her many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her seemingly endless family of friends.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Heather’s presence in their lives during a Celebration of Life at Park Tavern at Piedmont Park on Friday, June 18th from 6PM – 10PM.
