Heather Marie Phillips, 46, of South Bend, Indiana passed away peacefully in her home after battling cancer surrounded by loved ones on September 6, 2021.   Heather was daughter born to Danny Lee Phillips Sr. and Mary Kathryn Phillips on September 12, 1975.  Both parents preceded her death.  Surviving Heather is her ister, Kimberly Kay Balentine of South Bend, IN., brother Danny Lee Phillips Jr. of Cullman, Alabama, her three children Mary, 23, of Michigan City, Indiana; Brandon, 21, of  Osceola, Indiana; and Braylon, 17, of Granger, Indiana.  Also a grandson, TJ, 3, of Michigan City, Indiana.  She was engaged to be married this spring to Paul Ratliff of Dora, Alabama where Heather had previously resided before her illness.  Heather was a fun loving spirit, always carrying a smile, and laughed to laugh.  Her heart was bigger than the sun and her soul just as bright.  Anyone that knew Heather knew they were in for an adventure; she loved life and just enjoyed making people laugh.  Her family, especially her children, were everything to her and she loved spending every minute doing for them.  She loved to have music playing at all times; so if you heard a radio playing loudly; you knew Heather was home.  She will be missed greatly and all her knew her were extremely blessed.
