2023
These are a few of Heather’s designs from her creative project KNOWTHYSELF (knowthyself.me). She poured her heart and soul into this project, combining her love of fashion, creativity, and healing philosophy. In the “My Story” section, Heather also shared reflections on her healing journey in her own words. IMPORTANT NOTE: The website (knowthyself.me) may not remain active long-term. Please do not attempt to purchase items from the store. Gigi is currently working to preserve the designs and images—including archiving the site through the Internet Archive—with the hope of possibly producing a small batch of items as gifts for friends in the future. Heather on set for the video shoot for The Dimension of IS: A Spectacular Future, a multimedia performance exploring the dangers of space colonization, produced by Gigi’s arts organization, (a)eromestiza. Gigi is currently working with the GLBT Historical Society on a proposal to donate her performance archives—many of which feature Heather as both a performer and designer—so that their creative legacy may live on in the historical record for generations to come.

Heather performing in MUVE (Movement Uninhibited Violating Everything), a collaborative theater and dance piece presented at L-Fest at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. MUVE was another (a)eromestiza production—an experimental feminist fitness performance art piece exploring themes of love, creativity, and spirituality. Heather choreographed a queer cheerleading routine about gay marriage in this performance!

SF Pride!
This picture could have been taken over a dozen years. That’s how many Prides we celebrated together. Our Sunday dance party with the few left standing on Sunday was one of my favorite parts of Pride. So much love to my Munchkins, La Heather and Gigita ❤️.
