Hazel “Renee” Mason passed away peacefully at the age of 75
on 5/22/24 at the McWhorter Hospice House, following a long struggle with COPD and a more recent lung cancer diagnosis. Renee had her final cancer treatment and bell ringing ceremony on her 75th birthday and had many close friends in attendance for both celebrations!
Renee was born in Charlottesville, VA on 3/22/49 as the only daughter of Hilda Vera Marshall and Robert Atwood Mason. …
