Oh Hazel! I love you so much. I pray you are dancing with Jim and laughing with Gene and all your loved ones in Heaven. Put in a good word for me with the Big Guy please.
I was sadden when I heard the news of Hazel's passing. I will forever remember her sweet southern accent. The many stories she would tell, that would have you laughing for hours. Her long fancy smokes, or her “hot damn” would surely get her going! May she be at peace, and her family be as well. My condolences to all, and may her memory’s be what get through these challenging times.
Hazel & I went to IBA State college of beauty. We shared a station together and decorated it and won for the best one. We were ten years apart but we got along well for 2 gemini. She will be missed. Sorry for everyones loss, many prayers. (May) Maidelee Sweeney
I loved staying the night with Mamaw and Papa growing up. Some of my favorite times with her was staying up late watching dog the bounty hunter, sitting outside looking at the stars, and making clay figures together. Her and Papa always helped my mom make my childhood feel special, she would have me and Heather put out milk for fairies to visit, we would all make fudge to put out for santa, and going camping at Ivans with them is where I learned to ride my bike without training wheels. Her and papa were always there after every one of my eye surgeries and school plays. I'll forever miss those days and the Mamaw who made things seem magical, that's who I’ll always hold close and remember.
Hazel Forester was married to my cousin Jimmy Ray. My fondest memory when they got married (before having kids of their own). They would take me out which I was probably 3-4 years old and get me an ice cream cone. Jimmy Ray and Hazel loved me like their own. After Jimmy Ray passed I lost contact with Hazel.
