Harvey's obituary
Harvey served over 20 years in both the Navy and the Air Force, and within that time was a Korean War Veteran. He went on to work for USPS and the City of Poquoson School System, along with having a successful antique restoration business. He was also a master craftsman, with his carvings on display across the US, especially in churches. He was a devoted Christian, raising his family at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, retiring to Glebe Episcopal Church with his wife, and finally as a member of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church.
He loved his family and friends, nature (he never met an animal who he couldn't persuade to enjoy his company), carving, a good laugh and the gospel of John. He will be greatly missed but his legacies will be carried on for generations to come. Due to the Covid Pandemic a small service will take place. He will be cremated and laid to rest alongside his beloved wife at Albert G. Horton Veteran's Cemetery.
