Harry was the embodiment of 1 Corinthians 13: Faith, Hope and Love. And the greatest of these was love.
When he sang "In The Garden", you really believed he was walking with the Lord. And that you might be able to.
And now "Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling" him home.

In The Garden:
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The Son of God discloses
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

I can’t remember a time you have not been there when I needed you most! I remember so many great times in the Columbus church where we had so many great powerful services. Bro. Myers married Larry and I 38 years ago. Bro. Myers preached so many revivals for Dad (Bro Howlett). He preached Dad and Mom’s funerals. He, Sis Helen, and Debbie were right beside me in my breast cancer journey! Praying, loving, encouraging, and hugging me through it all. Then Mike passed away and he had said years prior if I died make sure Bro Myers preached his funeral and there you were doing just as he asked. Again praying and loving us through it all. You were my go too with every spiritual question. You have left behind such a wonderful legacy and have been a rock in my life. I will miss you dearly and I won’t have anyone to call me trouble anymore. Forever in my heart. My deepest love to Sis Myers, Debbie❤️, Josh, Krimer, and the grandkids!!!! Karen Howlett Brown

There's so many stories! So many years of my family coming to stay with yours on the weekends that are so precious to me! I can still hear you say, "Lord, heal the void" when you'd lay your hand on my head, lol. I remember the special comb we got you for Christmas one year! You became like a second Dad to me during those years. Now, I can see you and my Dad shouting all over Heaven!! I love you and you will forever be greatly missed! You was the best Bishop the organization ever had!!

Loving memories fill my soul from childhood onward. We shared many experiences happy and sad while growing up. I remember Harry being my protecting Big Brother before adulthood. A most poignant memory was when Mom and I tearfully embraced Harry at the train station as he was leaving to serve in the army. Tears of joy followed two years later in 1953 when he walked into the kitchen in uniform after serving in Korea. Fond memories will continue. Connie and I send our love to his beloved Helen, Debbie and Josh, plus all others who hold him close. Lord bless us all. - Ronnie and Connie

Great Uncle Harry, a mighty man of God. I have many fond memories of his preaching, hugs and unconditional love for all. He had a way of always letting me know everything would work out and it always did. My mom, Sandra, has shared many stories and memories of her beloved Uncle. I am blessed to be a part of his family and legacy. Rest in Heaven, we will meet again someday. Prayers to Helen and all the family, friends and fellowship of believers.
