My dear sister Felicia duren, my love and condolences to you and family, you and Harry will always be a spiritual mother and father to me and my family, love you both very much.
Harry truly indeed was like a father to me, he will always be loved and missed, he was considered to me as a spiritual father. But with spiritual eyes, minds, and hearts, we look forward to the time when we will all together with our dear Harry, Bask in the joy of our god Jehovah for all eternity. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15.)
I was devastated at hearing that Harry had passed. Harry and I go back to the mid 50s and he helped me to reallly appreciate the truth. Along with Mikeal Brown and his mother Merthal. They all helped me to know how important Jehovah is in our lives. Please Felicia except my deepest sympathy for your loss and of course the rest of the family also. Agape Love Kurt and Ada Leuthner
May Jehovah continue to support you all. Harry will look for all of us when he awakens. Gotta be there to share with him the wonderful events just ahead that will make the promised Paradise the Reality (Re 21:3-5).
I never recalled meeting Cousin Harry but by reading the comments he was well loved. My Aunt Ruby was a very sweet, kind and loving woman so I'm sure cousin Harry was a wonderful man. Our Family is so huge with my Mom having 18 siblings and numerous Aunts and Uncles that we never met or we may never meet everyone but just know our combined Giles, Parker, Rutledge Family was very loved and close knit. So to my Duren Family....I so sorry for the earthly loss of cousin Harry but Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. Love you all, Cousin Sylvia...daughter of Lessie Turner ( RIP )😇😇
I am so sorry for your loss. He was quite a spiritual man. Many years ago on several occasions he has giving me advice that I have never forgotten, and that I also have shared with other people. He will truly be missed.
To The Duren's & Tillman's We send our condolences and heartfelt prayers to you all May Jehovah continue to support you all during this most difficult time for he Jehovah is near to ones who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) He will be missed greatly.... but not for long. Warm thoughts and prayers
Even in times of difficult, Jehovah showers us with his love and hope for a better life. Yes life without pain at last when we will welcome back our dear brother as Jehovah will changes our tears of sorrow to ones of joy. I especially thank you, the Duran Family, for fortifying my joy in that day that is closely upon us. May Jehovah continue to give you the strength in keeping calm and showing trust in Him. Indeed you will be included in my prayers tonight - Yolanda
Hi mom. I just want to tell you that I love you. I also want to say that I will miss my father and mentor. He has been there for me in so many ways. Jehovah gave him to me. Psalm 68:5 says that 'Jehovah is a father of the fatherless'. He used Harry to fulfill that promise to me. I have always respected and loved Harry for the spiritual man he was, and for the one he helped me to be. I always valued his advice. My heart is broken. I wish I knew more so I could have spilled my heart to him about how I feel. But I think he knew how I felt. At least I hope he did. I am glad he is resting safe in God's hands now. And I know you and the family swell with pride when Harry is mentioned. Because as was mentioned during the memorial he was and is a 'very desirable man' in Jehovah's eyes and in man's. He gave me what I needed. A great example of a man, and father, from Jehovah's view, and I will always love him for it. Cant wait to hug him and cry on his shoulder and bug him for advice again. May Jehovah be with us all until then. Love... AHSAN.
To the family Our condolences We remember Brother Duren for his kindness and modesty. Working door to door and obtaining needed medical advice. Our prayers will be with you. The Williams family
To the Duren Family. I am deeply sorry for the loss of brother Harry as he is affectionately known as. As I was read the obituary , I notice two of his favorite songs that he continued to play. I heard Oye Como Va before but I haven't heard "So What" by Miles Davis. So I turned to . You Tube just now to listen to it. Well...needless to say I was blown away. That says it all!!! No wonder. It speaks the creative side of brother Harry. The song has a depth that only creative people like brother Harry could relate too. Just want to say he will truly be missed and I will keep you all in my prayers . Especially you my dearest sister Duren. With love - Jermyeta Joyner - Hollis Congregation.
My condolences to the Duren family and extended relatives. May Jehovah God's purpose to reunite us with our loved ones bring comfort to all of you. (John 5:28, 29) Farewell to Bro. Harry Duren, our service partner at Bowling Green and South Ferry! Hope we meet again in Paradise. Marie
