Harris Benjamin Applebaum of Rockaway Beach, New York and Hartford, Connecticut passed away in Hartford, Connecticut on February 2, 2022. Harris was graduate of Columbia University and was published in Law Review at the University of Texas. He worked as an attorney at Hinckley Allen in Hartford for over 30 years. He was most passionate about his family, chess, and classical piano. Applebaum was earned the rank of Chess Master by the International Chess Federation and was a performing classical pianist.

Throughout his career, Harris championed those who needed a voice and left a tremendous legacy as an officer of the court.

Harris is survived by his mother Pearle Applebaum, wife Betsy Applebaum, stepsons Zach and Simon Abrahms, and brother Niles Applebaum.

Services will be held at a later date, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
