Wow, This is sad. I just found a notebook where La Vern's family's name is written and so I started to look it up on google and this loss came up. I pray for Sue's family (kids and grandkids) to grow in God's knowledge and power to overcome hardship times as they walk thru life.
Happy Birthday in heaven sweet SUE!!  I so remember your smile and loving touch!!

Not too long ago, while sitting at the dining room table, Sue asked, "When is your birthday, Debra?" With pen in hand, for she kept meticulous notes, she wrote my birthday down.

"Maybe we can celebrate it?", we both pondered.

In that moment, while God our Father was planning for Sue's homecoming, August 11th was just another birthday to me ...

I dearly loved taking care of Sue and will never ever forget her kind soul.

My very good friend Sue!!  Sweet and always had a beautiful smile! Her meek and quiet spirit radiated wherever she went....I know she will be missed..The words of enter into the joys of the Lord; good and faithfull servant, your heavenly home is ready! Prayers for Laverne and family!

Sue was a wonderful friend to me, since I met her many years ago (1994 or so) while running a food co-op in North Greenville.  I always enjoyed our monthly chats, and visiting the farm to get fresh milk. Miss those days. She was a sweet, Godly Woman, and always a good source of sound, Biblical advice. (Which I often needed) She will be missed.
I am sorry for this family who will miss this precious Matriarch and flower that planted so many fragrant seeds.  May God get the Glory as He has picked His perfect handiwork to bring home and enjoy in His garden.  The fragrance that remains is rich and still adorns this family bouquet. I pray that He will be swift to sing in your hearts, His song of love, comfort and hope.
