Harriet Jean Randolph-Goodman was born on October 19,1950 to Matthew and Lydia Randolph in Memphis, Tennessee. She married Bernard Goodman on March 21, 1970 in the backyard of her moms house. She was survived by her husband Bernard, two daughters Melanie, Ashley, her two sons Rayvin Garmel, Melvin, her 10 grandchildren Taylor, DJ, Kyle, Jaylen, Travis, Jasmine, Zakaria, Tyler, Kasim, Khloe, and her 2 sisters Pauline, Gloria..
