2017, Idaho
It's never easy losing a loved one. However, It's been very heartwarming to hear all the stories about Hal since I started working at Swire Coke-Cola. It's amazing to hear and see the impact he made on other's lives. He is definitely missed and loved by many.

We miss you, Uncle Hal. You’d be proud of Aunt Rebecca!
Hal was always good to me when I provided training or services from our Draper Corp. offices to where he was within the Swire system.
I first met Hal in his Cheyenne days and to Grand Junction.
Hal and I talked many subjects from Coke yo my hunting and fishing days on the great Oregon Coast.
I send my deepest sorrows to Hal's family, to his wife and children.
Hal cared about the Swire people around him, I will miss Hal.
My condolences,
Ken Benfield

Hal was a great friend and family man. We always talked about our hunting experiences, what tags we drew, and our successes. Hal always took the time out of his day to make sure that everyone around him was taken care of. He cared about others and would always be there for people. Hal taught me a lot about the Coca Cola business and wanted to help me succeed. He will always be my friend and I will always remember his smile. RIP my good friend.

Great day on the lake with Hal, of course he caught all the fish😀 Hal’s passion for life was infectious, and his love for his family was immeasurable! The world lost a truly great man, and we all lost a great friend. RIP Hal.
Since Hal’s passing I have had a few days to reflect on his life. I feel comfort in knowing he lived his life exactly how he wanted to. Meeting and marrying the love of his life, Rebecca, creating a family legacy with amazing children and grandchildren, and enjoying the outdoors. I have never met a person who cherished these as much as Hal. I’m going to miss him everyday, but I take comfort in knowing he lived his life exactly as he wanted it. Heaven has received a truly amazing man.
He was brilliant and it was an honor to work with him.
Wishing his family my condolences
He will be missed

I’m speechless.. there is not much I can say without crying. This man was a father figure to me and a life without him is not fair to anyone. This amazing man touched so many lives. His smile, his laugh. Our countless hunting and fishing stories. I don’t want to believe this... I miss him.
I will always remember our shared birthday and his bright smile.
