Harold's obituary

Harold Mead Hickok, age 73 of Portland, OR, died on August 14, 2024. Harold was born to Nell and Nelson Hickok on September 18, 1950 in Salem, OR. He earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR and served in the United States Army before earning his law degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. Throughout his life he maintained a passion for writing, law, American history, University of Oregon and Michigan football, his family, and his extensive network of friends he remained close with throughout his life. He is survived by his daughter, Ruth (Ryan) Bickett-Hickok, and four siblings: Cline (Diane) Hickok, George (Jean) Hickok, Ruth Ellen (Stuart) Causey, and Ralph (Regina) Hickok. He is also survived by his nephew and nieces: Brian Hickok, Kimberly (Mihail) Mihaylov, and Katie Causey. He will be forever loved and greatly missed.
