Harold's obituary

  • Harold Rubbin Branson, 75, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with his lord and savior on October 8, 2021. Harold was born on February 3, 1946 to John and Tillie Branson in Dumas, Arkansas.  He was a retired veteran from the United States Army, where he proudly served his country.  He also retired from International Paper after working there for 43 years. He also retired from Watson Chapel School District where he drove a school bus and assisted in football games and kept the scoreboard for basketball games. He also refereed little league games. He was currently working for Pine Bluff Country Club. He loved to deer hunt and camping and watching NASCAR and football. He loved family  and friends. He was a member and deacon at Shannon Rd Baptist Church. He was a very loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, he was everything. He is preceded in death by his father, John Branson, his mother, Tillie Branson, his brother, Lewis Branson and his sister, Della Sue Branson. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Branson of Pine Bluff, two daughters, Monica (Dennis) Austin of Pine Bluff, Pamela Branson-Parsley of Pine Bluff, one step-daughter Carol ( Robert) Brinker of Pine Bluff, sister-in-law, Estelle Branson of Star City, three grandchildren, Brittany (Eddie) Austin of Pine Bluff, Zach (Tiffany) Parsley of Pine Bluff, Erich Jr. (Destiny) Parsley of Pine Bluff. Five great grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren. Several step great grandchildren. One niece and three nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Shannon Rd  Baptist Church, 6817 Shannon Rd Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Military honors will be held at Brown Cemetery, Brown Cemetery Rd off Hwy 54, at 10:00 a.m. Flowers will be received at Shannon Rd Baptist Church starting at 8:00 a.m- 9:00a.m.
