Harry's obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Harold "Harry" Benjamin, who left us peacefully on February 4, 2026. Born on November 4, 1939, Harry was a beacon of humility, calmness, and humor throughout his life, embodying the true definition of a gentleman.

Harry was best known for his tremendously humble spirit, always ready to put others before himself. He was a source of comfort and calm in tumultuous times, lending a steady hand and a kind heart when it was needed most. Known for his jovial humor, he lightened up every room he walked into and was never shy of sharing a hearty laugh.

Above all, he was a great teacher. Harry always stressed the importance of respect and kindness. His mantra, 'That's it and you know what i mean"  and always staying calm in the face of adversity', was something he lived by and consistently encouraged others to follow. These life lessons will be some of his most enduring legacies.

Harry was a hardworking individual who believed in the dignity of labor and never grumbled about the tasks at hand. This strong work ethic and perseverance were amongst his greatest accomplishments.

He leaves behind his friends and family but also a legacy of kindness and generosity. Harry was a man who never judged others but loved them for who they were, an enduring testament to his immense capacity to love and accept. This legacy will never be forgotten and will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know him.

Harry is survived by his devoted wife Fay, beloved daughters, Sonia and Maxine his cherished Gtandchildren Remel and Ria and the apple of his eye Great Grandaughter Amiyah. His love, wisdom, and laughter will be profoundly missed, and his memory will always stay alive in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, Harry. Your life was a gift to us all, and your wisdom will continue to guide us.
