Our beloved Harold Jones passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength that touched everyone who knew him. For over 25 years, he was a devoted husband, a proud stepfather, and a loyal friend who gave his heart freely and lived with integrity, humor, and compassion.
Harold dedicated 36 years of honorable service to the Tampa Police Department, where he was respected not only for his professionalism and leadership, but also for his kindness, humor, and genuine care for everyone he worked alongside. His colleagues were more than coworkers — they were family — and he took great pride in serving and protecting the community he loved.
As the family navigates this profound loss, we are organizing this fundraiser to help cover the many unexpected costs associated with Harold’s memorial services and to provide continued support for his wife and loved ones as they adjust to life without him. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, our goal is to raise $30,000, which will go toward:
• Funeral and burial expenses
• Family support during this period of transition
• A charitable donation in Harold’s honor to his favorite cause, Tunnel to Towers and Samaritan’s Purse.
Harold believed deeply in giving back — whether helping neighbors, mentoring others, or lending a hand without being asked. By contributing to this memorial fund, you’re not only helping his family through a difficult time, but also continuing the spirit of generosity that defined his life.
