Heartfelt condolences to Dr. Persaud's family. I had the privilege as a visiting medical student to have Hardat as my preceptor together with the pioneering class of UG Medical Students in 1996. His knowledge, care, passion and dedication to his craft was truly inspiring. I have no doubt that my time with him was a force that motivated me to pursue pediatrics as my career. Nearly 2 decades later I was able to reconnect with him on a chat group- his brilliance , humor and humility was still there.

Hardat was truly an inspiration to me, and I suspect to many who have had the good fortune to meet him.

Gone too soon, but his legacy will live on forever. Rest In Eternal Peace Hardat.

My condolences to the family, relatives and friends of Dr. Persaud. I'll always remember him as a colleague, friend, and brother. Someone comitted to caring for the little ones. The Paediatric community has lost a great doctor. I pray that God will be your constant help as you navigate this period.

Rest in peace Hardat.
