I remember my brother‘s 10th birthday oh so well, because I was born on his birthday and became five years old that day. My mother thought it would be a wonderful idea to have birthday parties for both of us at the same time. (not) Can you imagine a bunch of 10 year-old boys running around like Indians and a group of 5 year old little girls in lace petticoats having birthday parties at the same location?

Mother said “ never again”. I think she was literally traumatized by that day. . .
Memories, dear brother . . . Memories . . . both of you.
Marjie and I were very sorry to learn of the passing of Hans Mager, a friend of many years. We shared many moments of joy, and some of sorrow. Hans was hard working, intelligent, and loved good jokes, which he recited with skill. He knew how to have fun. We send our heartfelt sympathy to his family.
