Hannah/Jules was unlike any other girl. She was always polite and kind. Really smart for her young age, she was definitely an explorer, her senses always open to receive and process. She was amazing at following directions and understood instructions like no one else. She would help other kids and then return to her project, where she would put 100% of her focus. Her ability to stay focused was remarkable. She was a true sponge for learning and life experiences. I always wondered what she would achieve in life.

I was so glad to read the other posts and know she found so much joy in swimming, music, school, and being a good friend to all.

Dear, sweet girl, thank you for the gift of being your art teacher and for the blessing of getting to know you in a space that was simply magical. I like to think you were born to speed through this mortal life, and you are still doing amazing things on the other side. You have a wonderful family, parents who taught you well and love you deeply, a loving brother and friends who missed you. Sending peace and comfort to all who knew you, specially those who were so close to you. With so much love, Iraima.

Working with textures is always overstimulating for kids. Jules was always willing to cautiously try new experiences. Brave cute girl.

We were working on a harvest art project and used my vegetable garden as an inspiring experience. I asked the kids to use all their senses. Jules was really good at observing, and excellent at understanding concepts and connecting them to real-life experiences.

I loved coaching Jules on the…
I loved coaching Jules on the Davis High Swim Team. Her smile spoke a thousand words. She was always polite, friendly, and welcoming to everyone around her. What stood out most to me was how aware she was of others—especially those who might have needed a little extra love. Jules often went out of her way to make sure no one felt left out. She had a genuine compassion for people and was incredibly understanding when someone was having a hard day or simply needed someone to talk to. In the pool, Jules led by example. She was an exceptional swimmer who dedicated herself to working hard in practice and competing with strength and determination at every meet. Her presence on the team meant so much to so many, and she will be sorely missed. 💙
