Sue was one of the most capable, affable, and hardest-working people I’ve ever known, endlessly positive, productive, and always helpful. An exacting and beautiful soul whose good nature and exceptional talents have been greatly respected, loved and missed. May her light shine on through her fine sons, her outstanding creations and achievements, and in all good memories of such a strong and caring spirit.
Hannah (Sue) taught me many things, especially wonderful handcrafting skills like knitting, crocheting, embroidery, and making Victorian lampshades. She was very skilled in so many areas, including needlework and also music. I think most of these talents were inherited from her maternal side of her family history. Sue also loved dogs, with many canine pets throughout her life, and as a memorial to her love for her pets, a donation is being made to HART Hoopeston Animal Rescue Team in Illinois.
