Hank's obituary
Hank as a young man worked with his late uncle Ernest Naquin trawling throughout the coastal waters of Louisiana. Hank learned the art of net building from some of the best in the business. He later learned to build various types and patterns of nets used in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana and Texas.
As soon as he reached the age of 18 he joined the military along with friend Charlie Couville. Hank served as an Hercules Missile Technition stationed at a Missile base in Germany. After fulfilling his military duties he returned to the Louisiana bayou country running crew boats in various Texaco oil fields.
His love for trawling and net building always were a desire of his. In his later life he picked up the hobby of songwriting and teamed up with Majestic Records out of Nashville, Tennessee and recorded and copyrighted six of his songs.
Hank never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand with a big smile, to any and everyone he met. His two favorite foods were hog cracklings and dried shrimp. He will be greatly missed and remembered for his humorous personality. His handicap little dog "Baby Sweet Pea" has been patiently waiting on Hank's arrival.
