Dear Najaa, Nia, Fareed, & Family: Thinking of you as you celebrate Hanif's life and mourn his passing. Praying you continue to draw on the strength and love of God in the days ahead. Hanif is forever in your hearts!
Mann I hated when I heard the news an I just couldn’t help but remember how much fun we had growing up this a tough one for me man an I have the whole family in my prayers
When I first met Hanif he was a little boy at Bowen High School when his mom was our Assistant Principal. He was always smiling. I'll never forget that smile. Hanif is now your guardian Angel. Prayers and Blessings to you and your family always.
I have spent the past few days thinking about whether I would post here, and if so, which story to share. This caused so many memories to flood my mind. Sweet Hanif was born the day I graduated from law school. I, and the majority of my guests, were so excited about his birth that we ended the graduation party early and drove to the hospital to welcome him into the world. He was such a handsome little baby, and we all loved him instantly. By the time he was 2, he was having full conversations. There was no need to speak to him like a toddler because he already had an adult-level vocabulary and understanding of things. His mental and emotional intelligence were amazing at such a young age. And his beautiful smile was infectious. I cherish the time I was blessed to spend with him inside and outside the womb. We will love you always Hanif.
