Hamilton's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hamilton "Ham" Salsbury, who peacefully left us on October 6, 2025. Born on November 26, 1949, Ham lived a full and vibrant life, touching the hearts of many around him.
Known to many as Ham, he nevertheless preferred to be called Hamilton. His presence brought a unique blend of warmth and vitality to every room he entered, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Hamilton leaves behind his loving wife, Sherry Salsbury, who was his rock and companion through the journey of life. He is also survived by his daughter Kristi Olbert, and her husband Michael, both of whom held a special place in his heart.
Prior to his passing, Hamilton was predeceased by his beloved father, Gilbert Salsbury, and his cherished mother, Dorothy Salsbury. Notably, he found the memories of his brothers, Pat Salsbury and Les Stimac, a source of strength and inspiration throughout his life.
Hamilton was a man of simple pleasures and cherished the small joys of life. He had a particular fondness for Cherry Dr. Pepper and pure water. He enjoyed all genres of music, a testament to his broad and embracing taste. A true fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, his passion for the team was infectious. He also had a soft spot for the game Uno, which he enjoyed playing with friends and family. Blue was his favorite color, reflecting his serene and harmonious character.
In his memory, let us remember Hamilton not only for the loss we feel but for the joy and love he brought into our lives. His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him. Rest in peace, Hamilton.
