One final memory I would like to include:

Granny Hallie was an active Christian and as such, in her spare time at home, when she was still physically able to do so, she would read her Bible passionately.
After she was unable to do so, Josh and I would bring readings and bulletins from our church in Glasgow and read to her, which she enjoyed. And, I would play as often as I could for her on the piano in the hallway. She was so excited and proud for me to once again be playing in church, which I started doing in May of this year at St. John's Episcopal Church in Glasgow. She loved all of the hymns and would sing along as I played.
The day after she passed, I came across her Bible. When she was still able to read it, she kept a pen in it and often underlined her favorite verses. When she was done she would leave the pen in the Bible to mark her last spot. I turned to where her pen was tucked inside and read her last marking.
It was John 17:11 -  "And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are." I cried and then I smiled.
Granny Hallie was the glue that held our family together. And I couldn't help but feel comfort in that moment, that God had moved her to underline that specific verse because he knew it would be her last and that was their way of reassuring us, her family, that through God and faith, like she had in Christ, the glue would still be there to hold us all together.
I love you all, always. God bless!
