My heart is broken by this news. Halie was the brightest light and we were all so lucky to have known her. From the moment I met her, Halie was warm, welcoming, and kind. I am unable to attend the memorial service, but please know that my heart and thoughts will be with you all during this time. Sending all my love.

When I think of high school, …
When I think of high school, I think of Halie. She was my best friend and biggest supporter. I was so proud to watch her go off to UT and follow her dreams. I think of our tumbling privates together, our carpooling, cheer practice, and so many of my best memories when I remember Halie. Life may have take us on separate paths, but I thought of her often and loved to see pictures of her and her beautiful daughter. I will always carry Halie’s fun loving spirit with me. She made a huge impact on my life and many others.

My heart is in a thousand pieces right now. I am so deeply sorry  for everyone who loved Halie and will miss her so much. I admired her kindness and her open heart and I loved her free spirit. She was a beautiful soul that radiated joy and made everyone around her feel special.

Her wisdom, compassion, and dedication to justice and equity have made such a huge impact on me and so many others. Halie was an extraordinary friend, mentor, and inspiration to me. Her work and dedication improved thousands of lives and her advocacy work is unmatched. Her absence is deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. The world is undeniably a lesser place without her warmth and compassion.  We miss you so much.

I admired Halie’s confidence and the ability to always do what was right even if that was the harder choice. I learned so much from her in the short time we worked together. She will be deeply missed forever 🩵 My heart goes out to her family

I am so sorry for your loss. Halie and Rachel were college roommates for 3 years. Rachel credits Halie with getting her through college with her constant encouragement.  Halie had such a bright and kind spirit.

So so sorry for the loss of sweet Halie. She meant the world to my daughter, Amber,  and we considered her part of our own family! She will be deeply missed. So many prayers for all of you and sweet Aria during this time!
