Haley Elizabeth Michelle Cartwright

January 12, 1996 – September 15, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Haley Elizabeth Michelle Cartwright on September 15, 2024, at the age of 28. Born on January 12, 1996, Haley approached life with a joy and resilience that inspired everyone she met. Diagnosed early in life with a rare neurogenetic disorder known as Angelman syndrome, Haley faced every challenge with a strength and grace that were truly extraordinary.

Haley was a healer, a collector of small treasures, and a creator of countless joyful moments. Her playful spirit, quick-witted charm, and “Haley-isms” kept everyone on their toes, and will live on in the hearts of many. Though her way of communicating was unique, her message was always clear: she loved deeply, unconditionally, and selflessly.

Haley is survived by her loving parents, John and Tammy Cartwright, her siblings Tiffany Mora, Jessica Doiron (Jason Doiron), Reanna Weatherford (Kris Weatherford), Johnny Cartwright (Jaelyn Cartwright), and Jesse Cartwright (Willow Melton),  her cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Haley is also survived by her grandmother, Nora Lynn Morin McCurry, and uncles Jerry Cartwright (Denise Cartwright), Jeff Cartwright (Heather Cartwright), and James Cartwright

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Haley’s honor on October 13. 2024 at Fox Hollow Chalet in Anchorage, AK
