I can't believe I am writing this. My condolences to chi Hanh and the family. I can't bear to think of the pain the whole family is going through but I hope you will pull all the strength to get through this.
Anh Ha, we first met at the ICC 2006 in Istanbul, which I will share a photo of us taken there. Still remember how much you worried for me when I lost all my luggage at the hotel lobby upon arriving in Istanbul. I just left Sydney in 2007 before you arrived so we never got a chance to play football together. You beat me in tennis though under the iconic TV tower in Shanghai when we met again in 2013 (at least my tennis outfit beat yours then). You know how much joy I felt when you have said recently "Huan, I am always ready for football, tennis, and golf with you in London" but your visit will now never come. RIP colleague, brother and friend!

Em thật sự bàng hoàng và không muốn tin Thầy đã ra đi mãi mãi. Mong Thầy yên nghỉ. Thầy sẽ luôn ở trong tim em. Mong  chị Hạnh, Namca, Nammi, Namvinh và ông bà sớm vượt qua nỗi đau quá lớn này. Từ những ngày gặp nhau ở Sydney rồi Saskatoon hay Houston, biết bao nhiêu là kỷ niệm. Vĩnh biệt Thầy, một người Thầy, người anh giỏi giang, đáng kính và tốt bụng,  luôn giúp đỡ hết mình người khác với nụ cười đôn hậu tỏa nắng trên môi. Em sẽ luôn nhớ về Thầy!

An nghỉ nhé Thầy!

Only had a few chances of quick communication with Prof. Ha. He helped me to connect with his Vietnamese students when I first came to the University of Saskatchewan. What I remember of him is that he always had a warm smile and a sporty body-style. Thank you Prof. Ha. May you rest in peace and God bless your family.

Although we didn’t know Ha well, as our neighbor he was always smiling and very friendly whenever we passed or spoke on the street. Our condolences to Hanh and the kids, and the rest of Ha’s family. We hope your memories can give you some comfort during this very sad and difficult time.

I am deeply saddened and shocked to hear of the passing of my high school friend Nguyen Hoang Ha. My heartfelt condolences go to his family and loved ones. Ha will forever live in our hearts and memories.
