So shocked and saddened to hear this.... although it's been many years since I saw her,Ā  I still thought of her as one of my closest friends.... wouldn't have made it thru high school in Fowlerville without her ! šŸ˜¢šŸ™ Rest easy Gwyn..🌹
Wonderful lady. You are missed by so many. Fly high love.

There aren’t enough words to express everything she taught me over the twenty years she was in my life. Whether she knew it or not she very much shaped the woman I have become. She taught me to believe in myself and it was her belief in me that made me feel I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. She taught me the most important lesson I’ll ever learn in my life and that was to not let the really bad things define my life, but to take those really bad things and use it as motivation to do everything I hoped to. She taught me that love doesn’t care whether you’re blood related or not because she chose every day to love not only my dad, but to love me as if I was one of her own. When I became a stepmother myself I feel it was easier because of the love she gave me, even when I wasn’t the easiest to love. She taught me so many things, but I’ll never learn how to live without her. I will forever be thankful for the years I had with her and the wisdom she brought into my life. The timing of her loss is devastating in general, but I know when I walk across the stage for my college graduation there’s one person I’ll owe it to and that’s to her. I aspire to be half of the woman, mother, wife, employee, friend, sister, and daughter that she was.

I worked with Gwyn but she became more than that, she became a second mom to me earning her the title of ā€œWork mom.ā€ She taught me so much not just at work but in life and after we still kept in contact talking constantly. She always made me laugh, taught me about gardening, cooking. There was never day when we talked that we wouldn’t laugh. I’ll forever miss her humor, her laugh, her words of encouragement.Ā

I am so saddened hearing this news and I give my condolences to the family and everyone who was lucky enough to have met and know Gwyn. Truly a spitfire and I feel very extraordinary that she was in my life.Ā

I didn’t get to know you long, but you will forever be someone that I will remember. You made a lasting impression! I am thankful for the time we shared. Fly high until we meet again.Ā
