Guy Vincent Theriot, 66, of Austin Texas, passed away September 14, 2023.

The second of five children, Guy was born December 6, 1956 to Antoine and Beverly Theriot in Puerto Rico. After Guy graduated from Bishop McNamara High School in Maryland he went on to study at the University of Southwestern Louisiana now the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Guy graduated in 1982 and entered the Army.

Guy went on to get married in 1988 and had two beautiful children, Courtney and Kyle.

During his tenure on earth Guy worked in the baking world, in several restaurant industries and finished his career with UPS.

From a young age Guy knew how to make people laugh. His sense of humor was one of a kind and his impersonation of Elvis Presley’s Blue Christmas was spot on. Guy had a big heart and loved his family with all his heart! He had a way of making those around him feel like they were the most important person in his sight. He would talk to those he perceived as “important to the family” for an extended period of time to make sure they “fit in”.

Guy is preceded in death by his parents, Antoine and Beverly Theriot. He is survived by his siblings Brad Theriot (Colleen), Denise Brown (Terry) and Karen Jeffries (Ken) who loved him for who he was.

He is also survived by his children, Courtney Andren (Cameron) and Kyle Theriot (Kirsten). He is also survived by his grandkids Mia Andren, as well as Amelia and ClaytonTheriot.
