The first time I met Señor Gus was in Central Park while he and Phia were waiting for a dinner reservation. I promised him that if he came to Queens I would give him a tour of all the Peruvian foods. Especially Pio Pio and this famous Ceviche spot that I wanted to go to but I felt intimidated ordering from.

The thing I loved the most about him was his dedication to his city. He loved Philly. Wawa over Sheets, Eagles over everything, Philly Sports Podcaster and he made it seem so magical here. We lost one of the greatest Philadelphians of all time. I am beyond sorry for your loss. He was a good man.
