How you can help

It's with heavy hearts and enormous 1sadness, we announce the passing of our lovely Daddy, Grandpa, Brother, Friend and Husband, Guillermo Mariano Madrigal.

Our dad wanted to live to 100+, he kept telling us, and he was in reasonably good health for an 84 year old -- even his doctors said so. So, it came as a sad surprise when he passed suddenly without any major known ailments.

He didn't have life insurance and funeral costs paid for in advance. With our mother (also without life insurance) and sister also passing in the past five years, it has been very difficult. We hadn't even gotten the chance to get on the title to our family home, so it will cost upwards of $20k for us to transfer our mortgage over through probate.

Together, we are able to honor him through Vigil, Burial, and a Celebration of Life. However, as these costs are substantial and somewhat unexpected, any donations, no matter how large or small, will be greatly appreciated and put toward his remembrance, as well as the family home.

We thank you for being a part of Daddy's life in the many ways that you were, and we look forward to seeing you at his memorial or in the near future.
