It’s been 2 years but it feels like just yesterday. I miss Guido a lot. There isn’t a day that goes by that I dont think about him or miss him. He was one of my closest friends for close to a decade. He was someone who always had my back and I wish more people were like him. He befriended me when I didn’t even know I needed a friend.. I miss his jokes, his sarcasm, his laugh, everything. I am so glad to have met Guido. He is someone I’ll hold close to my heart forever. I’m sad that there is no place I can visit Guido.. but I can only hope visits me. Rest in paradise, angel. We all miss you.

My condolences to all of you in this difficult time. I just came across the news of Guido’s passing from the Delta Chi Quarterly Magazine.

My name is Fr. Michael P. Rocha, and I am a fellow Delta Chi member from the University of California, Riverside Chapter - Class of 2013. Currently I am situated in San Francisco, CA.

Although Guido and I never met, we share the lifelong bond as brothers from Delta Chi. 

May you rest in peace Guido!

I was reminded today about a card i once gave Guido. A card celebrating his graduation from high school! I remember telling Guido, “you will do great things with your life!” I sat in his memorial service today, and saw for my own eyes the great “things” he did with his life! The amount of people sharing his life and grieving his death gathered in a standing room only ~ these are the great things he did with his life ~ all of us he touched, all of us he loved in his special Guido way! We all have Guido in common, he did great things with his life! Hold tight to your memories of him, as those will live forever! We love you Guido!

Guido was one of the most positive people I’ve ever known, there truly is no one else like him. He always helped me in times of need and was a completely selfless human being. I know Guido is in heaven smiling down on us and watching us with that beautiful smile of his. Thank you for all of amazing memories Guido. Condolences to the family, I hope you guys are doing okay. I hope to see you soon at the funeral.

We are so sorry for your devastating loss. We cannot imagine the pain and suffering. We have a Holy Mass being offered for Guido on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer in Sterling, VA. May God send you comfort.
