I met Guelila during college and was immediately immersed in her sunshine. So kind, thoughtful, and funny. When I wanted to venture into filmmaking, she was one of the first people to volunteer for my documentary. You will be SO missed. I miss you so much my beautiful friend. I feel so blessed to have been able to experience your friendship these past 5 years. I’m going to miss our Group FaceTime’s w/ Bri and the convos we would have, the laughs we would share, the sad moments, the makeup sessions. I never met you in person but we knew of each other and talked through social media quite a bit. A lot of people described you to me as a light before we got the chance to introduce ourselves to one another. They described you so perfectly. What a light you were. You radiated so brightly and beautifully through our virtual interactions alone. I wish I could have witnessed you with your light still shining. I was and will forever be amazed by you and will always be reminded of you when there is light, and when there is darkness.
