I just heard of Gretchen's passing today.  Lost touch with the Zeltner family years ago, but I can never remember her without a smile & a kind greeting. Condolences to John, Jack, Brooke, & the grandchildren.
Gretchen was like a big sister to me. Loved her smile, her laughter. I always thought that her and my brother would get married. They were high school sweethearts & dated thru college.  I have a lot of fond memories of her.  At Christmas time & all the family outings we had with her. Our family loved her very dearly. She will be missed. My prayers go out to her and her family.
John, Kim and I are so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful and sweet lady. We know that fond memories of Gretchen will help ease the pain of your loss. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

We love you Zeltner family and are so sorry for the pain you’re having to endure with this loss. Gretchen was so welcoming and kind and made us feel like part of the family. Such a bright light and so positive and determined, despite the battle her body was fighting. We are mourning this loss with you guys. She was so beautiful inside and out. So much love to you guys. Love you!
Gretchen was graceful, kind, courageous-truly a lovely person. The love of her friends and family is a reflection of the warmth and love she gave to others.
Even though we didn’t know Gretchen for long, she was such a kind and  joyous person to be around. Always smiling! She also had a wonderful talent for decorating! She will be missed by us!
Gretchen’s smile, laugh & kindness was beyond contagious. She was an amazing friend and I will always have those memories to cherish…  Love to all of the family - Brooke & Robert

I met Gretchen and Brooke for the first time in 2019, at a workshop in Creighton Farms. Not knowing who is who, I called her Brooke and she responded “No, I AM Gretchen!”

I was a little embarrassed but more so touched by the way she said it. I felt the spirit and energy of the little girl in her, making sure I got her name right. I don’t know how else to explain it but it was such a beautiful  moment 🫶

My deepest sympathies and love for you John, Jack and Brooke and the rest of your family. My heart goes out to all of you.

💜💜💜

Dear Gretchen, I wish that you are surrounded by nothing but love, comfort, and peace, wherever you are now and wherever you go next on your journey. 💜

Gretchen, you will be missed so much.  Your smile, caring attitude and thoughtfulness are a legacy to us all.  Ralph and Gray Dowell

So,so sorry for your loss.

How deeply your shining spirit will be missed.  The very best neighbor, horse lover, rider, dog lover and friend.  Every person you met you greeted with that dazzling smile, incredible warmth and  endless kindness.  Such a special beautiful person inside and out.  We’re all going to miss you so much. 💕💔💕

Gretchen I loved you so.  You were always the bright light in a dark room.
I never met Gretchen in person, but we have had some conversations on the phone, making fun of John of course!  All the stories I have heard about her, no doubt one thing is for sure- she LOVED her family!  John, her kids, grandkids, and loved ones have gained the most beautiful angel to look after them.  All of my thoughts, prayers and strength are sent to you all! I am so sorry.
Gretchen was a special person.  She was funny, warm, and caring.  A true loss for all who knew her.
RIP Gretchen. I miss you so much. My heart is broken. Our family loved you so much. You had such a beautiful warm smile and you just lit up the room.  You were like a sister I never had. Sending prayers 🙏 to your family

I didn’t know Gretchen but it sure felt like I did. JayZ spoke of the family so much and would tell stories about all of the fun crazy things that would happen every week. I’m so glad for the memories that were made and I know there are no words that may comfort the family at this time so I pray for healing, memories, love and uplifting in your time of grief. Sending my sincere condolences to you all. 💐 🙏

To the Zeltner family,

We all loved Gretchen so much! She was indeed a bright light even in her darkest hour! She helped me so much with my own illness when she was in the thick of fighting hers! I’ll never forget that beautiful face, gracious smile and sparkling eyes, this is how I would describe her when she talked of her growing family! She loved you all so, and looked forward to each grandchild with such glee! And I think it all comes from her unwavering faith- what an example she was to all of us, as friend, sister daughter, aunt, mother grandmother and wife! I’ll cherish my memories with her and our friendship, Godspeed GiGi! Love Kristi Germinario

Deepest condolences from our family to yours. Our prayers that the pain of loss will be lessened by the wonderful memories.
What a lovely person who will be deeply missed.  Her life was far too short, but she made a big impact on those that were fortunate to know her.  May her family and friends find peace and comfort knowing she is at rest with the Lord.
