It is with great sadness that the Rapp family announces the passing of Gregory Rapp, 62, of Dove Canyon on November 23, 2018. He was born in Santa Ana, CA, on December 29, 1955 to Myron and Beverly Rapp. Greg is survived by his wife, Kristi, of 39 years; daughters Nicole (Kirk) Morris of Severna Park, MD, Michelle (Jonathan) Keene of Mission Viejo, CA, and Kelli (Andrew) Doherty of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters Suzanne Raymondson of Ukiah, CA and Roxanne Lamar of Bakersfield, CA; and his eight grandchildren whom he most endeared: Rylan Morris (7), Hadley Keene (6), Adaline Morris (4), Wyatt Keene (4), Barrett Doherty (3), Preston Morris (2), Finley Doherty (1), and Emmeline Keene (1).

Greg lived a life of accomplishments. At 15 years old he attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He graduated from La Quinta High School in 1974 and then attended California State University, Long Beach. In 2003 he became the proud business owner of Battery Experts Inc., earning multiple awards from his suppliers for top sales performance. This past fall marked the completion of 34 years in the battery distribution field.

Greg’s hobbies included fly fishing, golfing, performing in community theater, showcasing his mastery of illusion, and cooking for family and friends. Greg will be remembered for his love of family, humorous storytelling, and deep concern for the well-being of others. He will be greatly missed by all.
