As his cousin, I learned the importance of staying connected to family. I remember coming home from college and going to his Christmas Eve parties. I do not know how we all fit into his house, but somehow we managed! I had so many wonderful conversations with people. He cared deeply about creating an opportunity for all of us to get together and share our lives. These memories are important to me now.
