Background

Greg loved surfing in the South Bay and took great pride in keeping the beaches clean. Together with his brother, Steve, he regularly picked up trash at Sapphire Street in Redondo Beach, often salvaging and repurposing items found along the shore or in the water. Supporting organizations like The Surfrider Foundation is a meaningful way to honor Greg’s passion for protecting the ocean and preserving its natural beauty.

Cancer touched Greg’s life profoundly—he lost both his mother and brother to the disease and faced three personal battles with it. Contributions to the Cancer Research Institute help continue the fight to end cancer and bring hope to future generations. https://www.cancerresearch.org/

Greg’s legacy also lives on in simple acts of kindness. He would be honored by any effort to rescue a pet, pick up trash at the beach, or support your local animal shelter, rescue organization, or the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
